Emblaze-VCON´s xPoint™ 1.5 delivers embedded Multipoint Calling and Session Recording/Streaming for Exceptional Meeting Room Videoconferencing

ZONE-IP (LSE:ZIP) announces that its subsidiary, Emblaze-VCON, a leading provider of video communications technologies and conferencing solutions for government agencies, operators, broadcasters and corporate enterprise markets over IP networks, has released the enhanced version of its executive room videoconferencing system, xPoint™, that now includes embedded multipoint calling and session recording, storing and streaming capabilities.
A high-performance, set-top appliance, xPoint™ delivers TV-like video quality with 720p incoming video and crisp CD-quality audio over both IP and ISDN networks. New advanced features include embedded 6-site multipoint calling ability in addition to session recording, storing and streaming capabilities that are unique to Emblaze-VCON endpoints. Leveraging these new capabilities, every videoconference can now be recorded and streamed in real time. The streaming can then be viewed from any PC using Windows Media Player, or downloaded from the codec´s web-based archiving facility.
A single, sleek appliance ideal for executive conference rooms, xPoint™ utilizes H.239 and DualStream™ technology to turn any videoconference into an opportunity for effective collaboration and productivity with presentations, spreadsheets, documents and video clips easily shared via VGA and USB inputs.
